February 2010 - Matt will be taking part in the BIG WRITE week in March at the Discover centre in Stratford, London. Here are the details of his talk:
How to make a Book with Matt Buckingham

A unique opportunity to find out how picture books are created with writer and illustrator Matt Buckingham, follow the journey from initial sketch books and story notes through to prose roughs, illustrations and the final book Bright Stanley and the Cave Monster. Also during the workshop parents and children will create their own blob characters and story plots.

December 2009 - Matt is busy producing artwork for a second series of Gruesome Truth books for Wayland Publishing.
November 2009 - We are currently working on a new website for the launch of Matt's new book - Bright Stanley and the Cave Monster.
October 2009 - Matt took part in a Big Draw event at the Discover Centre, Stratford, London. He entertained young and old with a session on how to draw a pirate!

July 2009 - We have now completed the Museum Network's 'Talking objects' website. The new elearning module is aimed at Key Stage 3 and 4 pupils to reflect on how we perceive the past through the use of objects and works of art. We have also included a user generated section for students to discuss topics and upload their own images!
April 2009 - From the 4th April 2009 to the 28th June we will be exhibiting some of Matt's past illustration work at the Newcastle Museum & Art Gallery, Staffordshire. The exhibition is entitled "Bringing Words To Life" and will feature the work of various illustrators from the Midlands. The exhibition is intended to celebrate local Illustrators whose work communicates ideas, stories and information to the viewer in different ways.
January 2009 - Happy New Year to all our customers.
December 2008 - We are currently working on a new project with VT plc based on the London 2012 Games to promote courses and careers in Construction and the Built Environment.
November 2008 - Muddy Publishing welcomes a new member of the family - Barnaby Buckingham.
August 2008 - On August 26th Muddy Publishing will be at the Wallace Collection in London speaking at a session about Web 2.0 technologies and presenting the work on the 'Talking Objects' website.
August 2008 - We're finally moving to new premises but don't worry all our contact details will remain the same, we're only going down to the bottom of the garden!
July 2008 - Muddy publishing has been producing illustrations to go with the BBC accessible annual report 2008, for use online and in printed report format. Images are now live and can be found at: http://www.tvlicensing.co.uk/easyread/
July 2008 - Work has been completed on the interactive content for the Connexions 'Parents and Carers' website.
June 2008 - Muddy Publishing has just completed a research report for the Staffordshire Consortium of Infrastructure Organisations about ICT and the voluntary sector.
May 2008 - Completed a series of character designs for Blueberry Training Ltd. These will be featured on careers and business based podcasts for budding entrepreneurs!
April 2008 - Ongoing work on the latest Wallace Collection website - still yet to be titled! This exciting e-learning module will be for the teen target audience featuring interactive activities related to the function and meaning of some fascinating historical objects. Due to launch July 08.
April 2008 - Concer-tina Design is now Muddy Publishing Ltd! After many years of successful sole trading we've combined talents to provide a broader range of creative services.
